Milk Thistle has been shown to protect the liver from toxins and pollutants by preventing free radical damage and stimulating the production of new liver cells. Preparations of Milk Thistle are used as a stimulant for functional disorders of liver and gallbladder, including jaundice, gallbladder colic, and diseases of the spleen. It has also been found helpful for dyspepsia, toxic liver damage, hepatic cirrhosis, and as a supportive treatment in chronic inflammatory liver disease.
Studies show that Turmeric has been found helpful in fighting free radicals, protecting the liver against toxins, inhibiting platelet aggregation, aiding in circulation, lowering cholesterol levels, and improving blood vessel health.
